About the shelter

Angels4 Animals Rescues is a NGO from Timisoara – Romania! We try to help and rescue as many 4legs angels that we can. We rescue hundreds and find homes for them abroad. We always need help and support to be able to continue our rescued work.
The stray animals situation in Timisoara and the county Timis is harder then before. Our members from Angels4 Animals Rescue, (placed in Timisoara, Romania) are daily called out to help stray dogs and cats, but we are out of space. At this moment we only have some small kennels and fosters (most of the fosters being paid ones). We are feeding dogs on a field, in a protected area, in total we are feeding daily, at this stage, about 100 dogs. We have in our care sick dogs, injured ones, puppies and we confront each day with the same problem: where to put them! Food donations to feed all this animals is sent from both our NGO’s from Germany and Denmark.

The most shelters in Romania are public shelters where the animals have a really hard life, no food, no treatments, no care, very bad condition. Even if the law is suspended, they still kill dogs in high numbers.

Building a SHELTER is VITAL for us and the animals because there are too many cases and unfortunately we can’t help them all for lack of space. At this moment we have our rescued animals in too many locations and it is very hard to check on them on a daily base.
In order to build the shelter, we need your help. We received as donation from our Romanian member doctor Dana Stoian, a land of 5000 m2 in Dudestii Noi, a village placed at only 12 km from Timisoara. We will have soon a project for the shelter. The first step will be to buy and put fence on some of the land and start to build some kennels there, and remove the one we have now (and move there our rescued animals). The shelter will have a building with kennels (inside and outside), nursery, quarantine area, a clinic and also kennels outside for socialization and training with the animals. The plan is that some of our members and volunteers will be there and take care of the animals, as employees, even the President of our Romanian NGO Carmen Stanescu. The shelter will be an animal friendly one. The clinic will provide us with an income to the shelter. More then that, we will take dogs and cats with owners in pension, and this will also supply us with an income.
We have already in place Spaying Programs with our vets, for neutering dogs with owner that can´t afford to pay for this. This way, we can prevent that more pups are born and abandon on the street. We will want to keep this program as much time as we can, trough donations.   You can donate to help us build the shelter!
