About the shelter

The "Bim" shelter was established 9 years ago, but it all started with the overstaying of homeless animals at home. "So from 15 animals in a small area behind the parking lot, we turned into a large shelter," recalls the founder of the shelter, Kateryna Dorosh. Kirovograd animal protection organisation "BIM" treats, sterilises and adopts homeless animals. Currently, the veterinary centre has more than 350 animals who have suffered from cruelty and betrayal of people. Most of them are waiting for loving owners! Many animals are on treatment, the shelter constantly needs medicines and medical materials, cereals, meat products, building materials. The shelter also needs help with hands - cleaning, cooking, treatment of post-operative animals, all this takes a lot of time.
