About the shelter

The shelter was founded as an animal sterilization center. In September 2023, we will be 11 years old. Initially, the number of enclosures was calculated for 50 dogs, now there are 130 of them living in the shelter. Most of the funds for the maintenance of the asylum come from the administration's own pockets. We calculated that the share of donations from all costs is only 3%. That doesn't even cover the feed for all the animals. If you count in numbers, the average maintenance of one dog (food + utilities + vet services, services of dog trainers and caretakers) costs 2,000 hryvnias per month. For 130 dogs, it is already 260,000 hryvnias, and we also have cats.
