About the shelter

Dingo Team is the first and largest non-profit organization in Armenia dedicated to helping stray animals since 2007. The organization is entirely run by volunteers and focuses on rescuing, treating, sterilizing, and finding homes for homeless dogs and cats.
The founder of Dingo Team, Ovsanna Hovsepyan, started by personally rescuing and treating stray animals. Over time, she gathered a team of like-minded individuals who are committed to improving the lives of homeless animals in Armenia.
One of the main missions of Dingo Team is to promote a culture of pet adoption and tackle the issue of overpopulation. To achieve this, the organization actively runs sterilization programs, preventing the birth of more stray animals. Since its inception, volunteers have helped find loving homes for over 3,000 rescued animals.
The organization also places great emphasis on educational programs aimed at changing societal attitudes toward homeless animals. In collaboration with the Armenian-British charity Pro Paws, Dingo Team has developed school programs in Yerevan to teach younger generations about responsible and humane treatment of animals.
Currently, the Dingo Team shelter cares for 210 dogs, providing them with essential care, food, and medical treatment. The organization relies entirely on donations and volunteer support. Any form of assistance—whether financial support, food donations, medical supplies, or simply spreading awareness—helps improve the lives of stray animals in Armenia.
Join Dingo Team and be a part of creating a better future for homeless animals! 🐾❤️
