About the shelter

Our Animal Rescue Centre in Köycegiz, is situated in the Muğla region of Turkey, and provides refuge for animals in need. We are constantly working to maintain and improve our facilities.
All work is managed by volunteers to care for nearly 400 + Dogs as we are a really small Turkish Village and the locals are just not that interested in hands on help) which includes feeding, cleaning the shelter, caring for the sick, trying to provide suitable living conditions, the collection of animals, veterinary visits, grooming, walking, the list is endless.
To enable us to help the animals we rely totally on kind donations from our supporters. We are a non-profit organisation and all donations are used to benefit any animal in need. New homes for the animals are sought all the time. Please join us in saving as many dogs as possible, any adoption we get makes way for another mistreated soul.

Please visit our rescues adoption group, lots of lovely dogs of all ages and sizes waiting for there happy ever after, some have been in the shelter over 3 years.😢 We consider all applicants and help match the dog to your circumstances. We offer Full RBU in the UK. Home checks and costs apply to adoption.
